About the role
We are currently looking for a full time permanent Leasehold Officer to provide a high quality, cost effective service to the Group`s leaseholders, shared owners and tenants.
You will ensure customers are managed in accordance with current legislation, regulation and lease agreement and ensure the Group`s best interests are protected when liaising with managing agents and other external bodies.
The role will allow you to provide specialist advice and support around service charges to colleagues within the Group and present a strong commitment to customer service and overall service excellence.
You will carry out estate and block inspections as well as periodic visit to sites, working with internal and external stakeholders and managing agents where applicable.
You will also work effectively with Development on new schemes and regeneration sites to ensure smooth transition from Development to Neighbourhood teams.
About you
It is essential that you have a good general or technical education beyond GCSE e.g. 2 or more A- Levels/NVQ3 or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level.
You will have good working knowledge of relevant leasehold, service charge and housing legislation; to include Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 and ability to interpret residential and commercial leases, management and service level agreements.
A proven track record of developing positive working relationships with customers and a range of stakeholders is also required for this position as well as excellent communication, administration and organisation skills, with an ability to manage own workload.
