Repair & Maintenance Surveyor

Midlands

Salary - £41,800(+ 750 Car Allowance) per annum - depending on skills and experience

Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - Full Time


About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Repair & Maintenance Surveyor, on a permanent basis within the Midlands area.

You will carry out inspections both physically and using video functionality in our customers` homes and empty homes to provide advice or to schedule and raise repairs that are of a complex nature to remedy issues.

You will ensure we are meeting regulatory, statutory, and health & safety requirements, including decent homes standards.

You will be responsible for ensuring our services meet operational standards and targets, provide value for money and involve colleagues and customers in order to improve service delivery, there are specific overall requirements to meet the regulatory and health and safety required of the service, including the Decent Homes Standard and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you

You must have the following qualifications:

HNC in construction or equivalent and City and Guilds or equivalent in trades background i.e. Plumbing or Carpentry.

You must be able to plan, organise and successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously with timeliness and accuracy.

You must be able to build trust with others and an environment that encourages motivation.

You will need to be able to lead across the locality, carrying out all day to day surveying functions and responding to any technical queries raised by the residents, locality leads or colleagues.

You will review customer alteration requests and be the decision maker as to whether they are approved or not in line with our policy and procedures.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord
