Salary - £81,900 (+2,500 Car Allowance) per annum

About the role

Keeping customers, colleagues, contractors, and visitors safe is our top priority at GreenSquareAccord (GSA).

As Head of Fire Safety, you will be responsible for safeguarding people`s lives and protecting property by developing and leading GSA`s fire strategy and acting as GSA`s subject matter expert in all matters relating to fire safety.

Working closely with the Property Team (which co-ordinates the delivery of fire safety works), this role plays a crucial part in the delivery of our fire safety arrangements, including ensuring that works are prioritised in order of risk.

You will provide leadership and expertise to teams across the business to ensure that all requirements relating to fire safety are effectively managed, communicated and delivered.

About you

You will have a Level 6 Diploma in fire safety or fire engineering.

You will have a HNC/D in a building related subject or qualified experience.

You will be a member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers or an equivalent membership body.

You will be an expert at interpreting fire safety legislation, law and technical standards to provide practical advice and strategic guidance to teams across the business.

You will have significant experience of fire risk assessments and complexities applicable for a range of risk scenarios.

You will have the ability to work strategically and tactically with teams to ensure the fire safety of GSA properties and the people within them.

You will be a proven leader, an excellent communicator, and an adept problem solver.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord.
