Job Title - Senior Care Assistant
Location - Showell Court, Wolverhampton
Salary - £12.24 per hour
Contract type - Permanent
Working hours - 35 hours per week
About the role
You will be working in an Extracare scheme, caring for our customers in their own homes.
You will monitor the wellbeing of each resident, providing medication support and person centred-care. You will be involved in the care planning process and work with social services, SALT team, district nurses etc, promoting independence and well-being by ensuring that residents` personal, psychological and social care needs are met. You will lead your team demonstrating by example good care practices . You will develop staff by completing staff supervisions and support of team members to their full potential.
This role is contracted hours to 35 hours per week.
The shift pattern will be a mix of 7:30- 3pm and 2:30-10pm and alternate week ends.

About you
You need to have a caring nature with the desire to make a difference, helping our customers retain as much of their independence as possible, promoting dignity and respect with everything you do.
No experience is required as we give in house training and on site support to help you grow into the role.
