Job Location: SN14 OGU (Field based)

Salary - £29,303 - £36,681 (+ Company Van and Fuel Card) per annum

Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - Full Time 39 Hours per week

About the role

We`re looking for a Multi-trade Glazier to join our teams in Wiltshire, Oxford and Gloucester.

You will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements, efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice

By working in a professional, respectful and courteous manner you will deliver excellent customer service, objectives and achieve behaviour competences.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you

You must be qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ2 level in a repairs and maintenance related trade or demonstrate equivalent glazing / window repair experience. Previous experience of working within the social housing sector would be beneficial.

You must have a Full UK Driver`s License to enable you to be successful as you will be travelling to multiple locations weekly - you will be provided with a van and fuel card.

You will be required to undertake a range of window maintenance repairs and installs including the following: replacements of DGU`s, beading and a range of window components. installation of wooden, PVCU and metal windows. Be able to identify issues, order parts and repair issues to a variety of window types / styles. Be competent in surveying and measuring glass for replacement.

It is essential that you have a good understanding of safe working practices and knowledge of working to Risk Assessments, Method statements, COSHH assessments and a good understanding / experience of working at height safety and scaffold safety.

It is essential that you are able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.

You must have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines and be able to effectively use hand-held electronic devices. A work tablet will be provided and plays a vital part of the role .

You must be highly competent , have a positive can do attitude, have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and communicate with them effectively and confidently.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord.
