About the role

We have a really unique opportunity available for a Resident Scheme Manager to join our Windmill Close Retirement Scheme which is based in Worcester.

Windmill Close offers independent living to adults over 60 in 38 retirement flats and bungalows with 40 residents.

As a Resident Scheme Manager you will live on site as the GreenSquareAccord point of contact for the residents. You will oversee the welfare of those who reside at Windmill Close and to do this we need someone who is a friendly, approachable and likeable character. If our residents have any problems, big or small, we want them to be able to trust and turn to their Scheme Manager.

As a Resident Scheme Manager you will be required to live on site in a two bedroom flat. The rent for this flat will be £78.84 per week. This post is 35 hours, Monday to Friday. Any time spent out of hours dealing with residents or emergencies is given back to you as time off in lieu.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following the offer.

About you

You should be able to cope well in emergencies and stay calm under pressure. This is essential as you will be expected to deal with any accidents and emergencies, day or night that occur on site and be able to calm those around you.

Your role will include monitoring and supervising any contractors whilst they are on site and keeping accurate records of site visits, resident`s details, petty cash, accidents and inventories. Therefore, a competency in Microsoft Office is essential.

Although previous experience would be an advantage this role requires a kind-hearted person willing to engage with the residents and training can be given where necessary.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord.
